About The Role

Step into the world of power trading and become part of a team that thrives on data, quick decision-making, and market dynamics. From day one, you will be involved in real trading activities, work closely with experienced traders, and gain valuable hands-on experience in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maximizing the value of renewable energy assets by supporting trading activities across futures and spot markets, including Day-Ahead and Intraday markets
Participating in daily trading activities across physical and financial power markets
Preparing and submitting schedules and nominations to relevant transmission system operators
Assisting in developing and improving trading strategies and quantitative models
Contributing to the enhancement of our internal trading systems and the automation of trading processes
Monitoring market developments, pricing trends, and regulatory changes across European energy markets
Sharing market insights and actively contributing to team discussions

Qualifications and Experience

Up to 2 years of experience in power trading, financial markets, or a similar analytical environment (internships welcome)
Bachelor's or master’s degree in economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field
Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
Knowledge of Python, VBA, or other programming tools is an advantage
Strong analytical thinking and quantitative problem-solving skills
Good understanding of power markets, trading principles, and renewable energy sources
Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and grow within energy trading and market optimization fields
