Golang Software Engineer

• Developing high quality, highly available distributed software
  
  
• Reviewing code written by other team members
  
  
• Preparing models and technical descriptions for allocated tasks
  
  
• Ensuring adequate level of system and software documentation
  
  
• Writing applications in Go, occasionally Java
  
  
• Maintaining existing software
  
  
• Supporting new members of the team
  
  
• Adopting Agile methodologies and processes developed by the team

Required

• Experience in developing microservice-based systems (3 years +) as a Software Developer (Backend)
  
  
• Hands on experience (2 years +) with Golang (as a Software Developer)
  
  
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
  
  
• Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  
  
• Familiar with Jira, Gitlab, Miro
  
  
• Basic Java syntax knowledge
  
  
• Professional experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  
  
• A team player with strong communication skills
  
  
• English (B2+) and Polish (B2+)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Mongo DB, Timescale DB, Kafka, RabbitMQ
  
  
• Experience in the energy or renewable energy sectors
  
  
• MSc in an engineering field
